To awaken women to their hidden potential and foster learning as a life-long process of keeping abreast with change.
Shared Humanity & Love
Nurturing students to become self-reliant, socially responsible, and empowered women of great strength.
From 1923 onwards, Mona Chandravati Gupta was fired by a great zeal to work for women. She was deeply conscious that learning is a life long process. Thus, in 1931, she founded the 'Zenana Park League', which later became the 'Women's Social Service League' in 1936.
In 1945, the "Women's Academy" was established. After Independence in 1947, these bodies amalgamated into the Nari Sewa Samiti. Her vision integrated academic education with technical and vocational training, creating an umbrella body for holistic growth.
Today, Nari Shiksha Niketan PG College carries this torch forward, striving to build a spirit of shared humanity and cultivate a sense of universal responsibility in every student.
"Once our students leave the portals of this institution, they emerge as women of great strength, empowered to overcome personal hardships and live a life filled with hope and deep respect for humanity."
